For a long time, the woman has been considered as the weaker gender, she has been submitted to all the men’s decisions, treated like a thing, being used in a lot of ways. She has been raised to be inferior to the male, to serve him and please him. On the other hand, the man has fully benefited from all of his rights, whether politically, socially or economically … Compared to the woman who was staying at home. This differentiation is due to several reasons like religions, traditions … but most of all ignorance. Nowadays with the advancement of technology and knowledge, that has given enormous benefits to the world, a lot of people of both genders are aware of the unfairness of this discrimination, they are conscious that the woman can assume the same role as the man. The woman can think. The woman can create. The woman can work. The woman can aspire. The woman can learn. The woman can be powerful. The woman can understand politics. The woman can lead. The woman can succeed. The woman can be independent and, yes, the woman is equal to the man. Those people called “feminists “do their best to spread this awareness and defend the woman’s value no matter what. In fact, we can see that the feminine gender has known a big evolution in this century. She has now the right to vote, the right to study, the right to work for her country …things that she couldn’t do before. We can also notice that the countries that gave her freedom, liberty, and rights live a progress and development in a lot of fields. Here, the woman can be an important part of the society and she can participate in many duties so she can help for the headway of her nation. Day by day women are taking a bigger place in this world , they have accomplished a lot of things in diverse domains, whether in art ( Marylyn Monroe , Yoko Ono , Romaine Brooks , Suzanne Valadon …) , in sport ( Amber Lee ,Ronda Rousey ,Brittney Grinner …), in science ( Marie Curie , Rosalind Franklin … ) , in politics ( Ellen Johnson Sir leaf , Benazir Bhutto ,Angela Merkel … ) . Unfortunately, not everything is perfect and the women are still considered as the inferior of men, even with this evolution. We still find this horrible discrimination in many places in this world, but we hope for a change. We hope for a better life. We hope for equality and we work for it.

Nowadays with the advancement of technology and knowledge, that has given enormous benefits to the world, a lot of people of both genders are aware of the unfairness of this discrimination, they are conscious that the woman can assume the same role as the man.
