Women sensitivity in leadership positions

This is an article where I share my point of view. Points of view can differ.
Many people say that women are sensitive and that’s why they can’t take leadership positions.
I want to say to those people that this sensitivity is what makes women capable to take these leadership positions. People can take sensitivity as a weakness, but I consider it as a strength that can help the world to move forward.
When leaders make decisions to save the economy of their country, they forget the damages they have left behind (Wars, injured people, destroyed countries, inflations…) I think that we need compassion and sensitivity making those decisions to prevent from these damages and what better than the sensitivity of a woman.
Moreover, her sensitivity doesn’t stop her from making wise decisions for her country. Through history, many women proved that they were able to take responsibility of their countries and to contribute to their improvement. I want to mention Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the model of every African girl who has ever dreamed of a high position in the government of her country.  Sirleaf is the first elected female head of state in Africa. She is contributing to the development of Liberia and she is the example that confirms that a woman’s sensitivity doesn’t stop her from achieving her dreams and making a change in her country.
I just want to say that we need more “sensitive women” in leadership positions. We need people with tolerance and compassion in our governments.  We need people who want peace and want to stop wars.
I want to stop hearing “Women are sensitive that’s why they can’t take leadership positions”
